The Toronto Blue Jays kick off the 2019 baseball season at home tomorrow (Thursday, March 28th) against the Detroit Tigers.
Yes, the boys of summer are back on the diamond.
There’s just one problem: The game kicks off at 3:37 in the afternoon. That’s primetime for toiling away on Slack. What one might call “work.” So, what can you do about it? Don’t worry, the Jays are on the case:

That there is a pre-drafted letter of absence you can simply print out, fill in, and hand to whoever owns your time tomorrow afternoon. While I’m not a lawyer and cannot vouch for the legitimacy of this document, I can recommend at least giving it a shot.
The good news is that even if you’re too much of a wuss to try this stunt, the Jays’ next home game is just two days later, on Saturday evening.
