Harry Rosen’s Fall Line

Harry Rosen has been dressing distinguished gentlemen for over fifty years, and their Fall 2010 Collection is no exception. By combining classic styles with modern inspiration, Harry Rosen is the most notable retailer for young professional men this fall.

Mens’ fashion is changing. The typical modern man is much more knowledgeable about what looks good, and the style they want. Not only that, younger men are influencing the trends that were previously dictated by an older generation. Harry Rosen has picked up on these changes, and it’s reflected in their collection.

When it comes to business wear, the traditional suit has found a modern expression. The Fall 2010 line is characterized by trim silhouettes, a narrow tie to match narrow lapels, clean cuts, pocket squares, and lots of gray tones. Since a transitional outfit is so important for the modern man, don’t hesitate to pair suit jackets and business shirts with a great pair of jeans when you go from day to evening. And all of those checkered and gingham shirts that were so popular last year haven’t been retired just yet!

They also have an extensive casual wear line inspired by a Nordic appeal. The jackets, jeans, scarves, and sweaters will have you looking great on the slopes of Whistler or the Alps. But you’ll still fit right in even if you never leave downtown. When it comes to footwear, don’t brave the winter weather without a great pair of boots.

Harry Rosen carries a wide range of designers including Armani, Hugo Boss, Dolce and Gabbana, Canali, and Tom Ford. On the casual side of things, you can choose among Z-Zegna, Stone Island, and Levi’s Made and Crafted — a new line of premium denim jeans. Lots of choice for the fashion-conscious man.

On February 4th, 1954, Harry Rosen and his brother Lou opened a store in Cabbagetown with only $500. Fifty-five years later, Harry Rosen has 15 stores across Canada. In Toronto, they’re located at 82 Bloor Street West, Yorkdale, Sherway Gardens, The Eaton Centre, and Square One. In Vancouver, you can find them at The Pacific Centre and the Oakridge Shopping Centre. And in Calgary, check them out in Toronto Dominion Square.

You’ll begin to see these designs in Harry Rosen stores beginning in late June, with the full collection available in August and September.
