Happy Place: Toronto is Getting an Instagram Playland

If you’re in the market for fresh Instagram material and a pick-me-up, you should definitely hit Happy Place when it arrives in Toronto tomorrow.

Here, you can play in the middle of the world’s largest confetti domes, jump through a larger-than-life rainbow into a pot of happiness, hop inside the signature rubber ducky bathtub of fun, and pose next to seven-foot tall stilettos made out of a million candies.

Taking over a 20,000 square-foot building in Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre, Happy Place features a sensory overload of one-of-a-kind installations and sculptures and unique experiences. The common theme, naturally, is happiness – something we can always use more of in the world.

Other talking points of the exhibit include six-foot-tall X and O letters made out of thousands of tiny mirrors, a wall of one thousand lips, and a snack bar that will dish up some very Instagram-worthy rainbow-hued treats like Rainbow Grilled Cheese, a colourful ‘Fun’nel Cake, and Happy Hot Chocolate.
