In giving financial security to the olive farmers, the program makes traditional farming methods feasible, which, quite simply, produce the world’s best olive oil.
A user-friendly online ordering system allows purchasers to select your olive grove and includes information about each grove and the producers. This includes background information on the grove, where the tree is grown, tasting notes and the varietal. Information on the farmers behind the grove adds a nice personal touch. After you choose a grove, the third step is to add premium live oils. The recipient will be sent an Adoption Gift Pack.
The best way to appreciate something we take for granted like olive oil is to witness the hard work that goes into producing it yourself. Adopters are welcome to visit their trees in Italy, where they are shown around the olive grove, introduce their tree and, depending on the time of year, shown the olive press in action. Some offer bed and breakfast accommodation.
