From Charlebois to Arcade Fire: Sugar Ball 2014 is Musical

May is always one of our favorite months, not just because the weather is finally warm, sunny and pleasant, but because one of our favourite young professional charity soirees takes place. Sugar Ball 2014 is back, and this time hits a beautiful musical note. Inspired by the McCord Museum’s summer exhibition, Music – Quebec: From Charlebois to Arcade Fire, Sugar Ball will give homage to Quebecois talent from the 60s to today.

The night’s main focus is to protect and share Montreal’s collective memories by supporting the McCord Museum by hosting around 900 of Montreal’s top movers and shakers under the roof at The Arsenal, a chic and industrial art space located on Rue William known to host some of the city’s most notable events.

So what can you expect on May 9th? VIP guests will enjoy premium alcohol, including a scotch bar by Burgundy Lion and delicacies such as sweets from Sophie Sucrée, just to name a few, while Montreal’s sweetheart, DJ Abeille, spins an amazing tribute to Quebecois talent. Sugar Ballers arriving at 10pm will network around an open bar while the always hype DJ YO-C will ensure everyone’s on the dance floor and having a blast.

Don’t forget to dress the part! The red carpet is always a favourite of the night so make sure you stop by the media step & repeat and snap away with your crew.

Tickets are moving at lightning speed so make sure you get yours and revel in the music that has shaped Quebec’s history.

Even more notable is that we’re giving away a pair of tickets to the must-attend Sugar Ball; simply enter your info below for a chance to win. Contest closes May 2.
