Frocktail Party Returns in All its Gown Filled Glory

We know where the city’s most stylish will “frock” in just a few short days.

Just in time for the holiday party circuit, The Frocktail Party returns in all its gown-filled glory.

If you’re a fashion-forward female in Toronto, we probably don’t have to tell you that the sixth annual event happens this Thursday (November 20th) at the Arcadian Loft.

And guys (especially you single gentleman out there), with the high level of magazine-worthy estrogen in attendance, this is a can’t-miss for you too.

Throw in a good cause and this is going to be a great night for everyone involved. The star of the show is, as always, a designer auction, with proceeds benefitting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Between cocktails and catch-ups, guests can score dresses from designers like Balmain, Gucci, Lanvin, Zac Posen, Givenchy, Miu Miu, Valentino, Mary Katrantzou, Erdem, Versace, Dior, Alexander McQueen, and more. In addition to the off-runway frocks, some of Toronto’s most stylish Toronto celebs and social scene fixtures have donated beloved gowns straight from their own closets.

This means pieces from the dream-worthy closets of Rachel McAdams, Suzanne Rogers, Jessica Mulroney, Jenna Bitove, Marilyn Dennis, Traci Melchor, Lainey Lui, Cynthia Loyst, Melissa Grelo, and Tanya Kim. No big deal.

Other auction front runners include a personalized trench coat experience from Burberry, a stunning Greta Constantine piece as seen on Coco Rocha, the perfect party dresses from Narces, must-have moto jackets from LINE, and – pay attention brides – a golden ticket shopping experience from Kleinfeld’s.

For a little preview of what you can expect, check out the pre-auction photo shoot where new it-girl Chloe Rogers modelled mom Suzanne Rogers’ donations alongside a bevy of beauties including Revlon spokes model – and Notable Award nominee for “Best Personal Brand” – Ainsley Kerr.

The auction runs from 7pm-10pm and the party runs ‘til late – just as every Thursday should.
