FNL at the ROM Proud

Mixing culture and cocktails, Friday Night Live returns to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) on Friday, June 27th for its 9th and final week of the spring series, with Proud at the ROM. In case you haven’t heard, the ROM stays up late on Fridays for their increasingly popular (and often sold out) Friday Night Live event series (#FNLROM). Don’t worry; there will be no school field trips at this event, as the museum opens its doors for a 19+ crowd from 7pm to midnight each Friday night.

In addition to the opportunity to party, network and mingle with other young professionals among dinosaur bones and ancient artifacts, #FNLROM offers eclectic entertainment and inventive programming, including dance, film presentations, music, art, interactive conversations and weekly performances by local and international spoken word poets. Arrive hungry- the party serves up some of Toronto’s best-known and beloved pop-up food vendors.

As opposed to splurging on a ROM PROM ticket, Friday Night Live offers a more affordable way to party in the museum. Admission is only $12. Friday Night Live currency, ROMBucks, cost $6 each and can be used to purchase any drink or food item.

Word of advice- arrive early, as last call is 11pm (which means you will clearly recall the conversations with sexy strangers and potential new clients alike).
