Sometimes it takes just one person to start a revolution, and we sincerely hope this Florida anchor’s refusal to discuss the Kardashians on TV is the start of a movement for cable news.
Already forced to endure a discussion about Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s wedding, Fox 35’s impending Employee of the Year drew the line when he saw the words ‘Kylie Jenner Names Her Rabbit Bruce’ flash across his teleprompter.
“Ok, I’m having a good Friday, so I refuse to talk about the Kardashians today. You are on your own, Amy,” he announces as he departs the set, presumably straight on his way to the beer fridge to kick off the weekend on a high note.
“I’ve had enough Kardashians – I can’t take anymore Kardashians!”
Amen, brother!
Another dude, who presumably works at the network and is certainly more enthused about the Kardashians than our hero John, immediately swoops in to take his spot, a deep regret almost instantly washing over his face as John’s protests continue to echo in the background.
