Fifth Edition of the Bridal Boudoir Affair Set to Dazzle With James Bond Theme

Last week we had the upmost pleasure to be invited to an extremely intimate preview night for the fifth edition of the swanky Bridal Boudoir Affair put on by Maddy K Events + Weddings Atelier.

Set in a deliciously decorated space next to an indoor pool inside the Hyatt Regency Montreal, James Bond and black tie swankiness were all around. The space was filled with delectable cocktails, gastronomic cuisine and incredible sweets and treats provided by the wonderful vendors that will also be present at the official Boudoir event March 23rd.

The Affair draws its inspiration from the classic spy movies to present a one-of-a-kind event with a sexy twist. The Boudoir is more than a place for brides-to-be; it is also an event featuring unique ideas for anyone planning an event, whether it’s a lavish dinner party or a once-in-a-lifetime wedding.

Unlike other bridal shows, all of the vendors in attendance have been personally invited by Maddy K, of Maddy K Events + Weddings Atelier, who had this to say: “Each year the Boudoir continues to grow and brings new ideas to the table. But this year, I can truly say that what we have to present will take your breath away.”

Brides-to-be and event enthusiasts can spend the day sampling cocktails, finger food, desserts and meet a carefully curated collection of original florists, caterers, musicians, décor specialists and jewelers all under one space. Some highlights this year include: Buonanotte, Madalena Catering, Gateaulogie, Prêt à Manger, Maison Christian Faure, Rustique and Nicolina Servello, who will be amongst the vendors on hand to help you get a taste of the best food, desserts and cake choices for your wedding or other special party. Also on tap:

– Sample Brahm Mauer Bar Services’ latest signature drinks, sure to be a hit of any bar.

– The hotel will feature their own Hyatt Zone, where you can sample the Hyatt Regency’s food and beverages and meet their sommelier for updates on the best wine pairings.

– Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma and West Elm are thrilled to bring their design expertise to the Bridal Boudoir.

– There will be a very special fashion show styled by Andrew Ly featuring a presentation of the Monique Lhuillier Platinum Collection and Di Carlo Couture, custom couture bridal & evening wear.

– This year the Men’s Lounge returns, offering grooms-to-be and their buddies a special place to gather and sample fine liquors. It’s the perfect place to hang out while they await the lingerie fashion show by Blush Lingerie, which is sure to feature the classic and sexy looks that Bond girls are known for.

Tickets are $25 at www.bridalboudoiraffair.com and will be available at the door for $30, if quantities remain. Get your Bond on!
