We were on hand to take in the action last week (May 9) as The Theatre Junction held their annual fundraiser at The Grand theatre.
With a title like cultureHOUSE PARTY, we were intrigued as to the logistics behind throwing a house party in a theatre and were impressed by what we found. The party surrounded a pool, complete with a fountain and an Astroturf lawn border. Spring had certainly sprung indoors as the lawn chairs and pinwheels amped up the garden theme.
There was a live abstract painting created during the party, which was then included as part of the silent auction. Party revelers hammed it up in the costumed filled photo booth while the DJ kept the dance floor hopping.
