Corporate Calgary came together for Penny Lane Entertainment’s ‘Amazing Race’ on December 10, 2012 in support of their Annual ‘Give a Child a Wish’ Day.
Teams raced around the city in search of the perfect gifts for 200 lucky kids. The teams then assembled at Belgo Brasserie for the official Wrap-Up party. The first team back even won a chef’s dinner package. Throughout the evening, Calgary young professionals mingled and wrapped the gifts as they enjoyed complimentary appetizers and festive beverages.
The gifts will be distributed at the annual ‘Give a Child a Wish Day’, which provides under-privileged children and their families an afternoon of entertainment, traditional holiday food and a special gift for each child presented by Santa Claus and his helpers…. not to mention they get a chance to meet some of the city’s top celebrities, athletes, politicians and media who volunteer their time to help make it a special day.
