Event Recap: Notable Apothic Wine Tour Calgary

Notable peeps hit the town in style on Wednesday, October 17 for the first-ever Calgary Notable event. In partnership with Apothic Wine, the event was held at hot spot Ox and Angela, which is known for its great atmosphere, awesome clientele and amazing Spanish tapas.

Despite it being the middle of the week, 100 of Calgary’s finest young professionals, including many of the city’s YPs/YEs who have been profiled on the site, came out dressed to impress.  Guests met and mingled over glasses of Apothic Red and Apothic White wine, as well as delicious canapés created by Ox Chef Steve Smee.

After a couple of hours of networking, guests listened to Notable Founder Julian Brass and Notable Calgary Editor Katy Bond talk about Notable and its influence thus far in Calgary, along with congratulating those in the room for helping to make Notable a success in the city.

Of course the night didn’t end there. The festivities ramped up and the party continued on for much of the evening.

The vibe at the event was a perfect reflection of what Notable stands for, and it was great to have guests experience it first-hand. For those of you who were unable to attend, not to worry: Notable events will be popping up again soon. Stay tuned and make sure you come prepared with biz cards, because you know you’ll want to connect with the Notable people you meet.
