Event Recap: Boobyball’s Camp Booby

Calgary young professionals came out dressed to impress in their best camp attire for the first-ever Calgary Boobyball. In support Rethink Breast Cancer, it was held at the Devonian Gardens in Calgary’s Core, the space transformed into a chic ‘Summer Camp’.

Guests nibbled on camp favourites as they mingled and checked out the interactive booths. These included a video booth, as well as a hair and make-up station.

There was also a Camp Store where you could pick up essentials such as camp badges and glow sticks, among other items. For those with a sweet tooth, there was a fantastic dessert bar featuring cake pops, cupcakes, and candy corn. The event also had a silent auction with all sorts of goodies to bid on.

The Boobyball, launched in Toronto in 2002 by a group of dedicated young women in support of their friend Sarah O’Regan, has had all sorts of fun, flirty and fashionable themes, exciting activations and a see-and-be-seen guest lists. Today it is one of the country’s most coveted and high profile fundraising events for young philanthropists.
