Now entering its 6th ‘splash-tastic’ year of fundraising fun, this year’s Kayak for a Cure has partnered with Inspire Health to raise funds for cancer research and support in BC. From humble beginnings, Kayak for a Cure has spread its fundraising wings to six other cities and is a popular way for young professionals to do good, in a fun and different way. Having raised more than $200K so far, KFAC invites participants to simply register, grab a kayak and go. Participants will depart from the sunny shores of Jericho Beach for a 10KM paddle with the promise of a huge West Coast-style BBQ to finish.
