If you haven’t fallen in love with Emma Watson yet, you have some serious catching up to do.
She’s chic, wise beyond her years, and always on the right side of social issues.
From being a vocal feminist and campaigning for gender equality to working as a UN Goodwill Ambassador, not to mention being an incredibly talented actress, Watson is like a modern-day Audrey Hepburn.
And it turns out Watson has another unique skill that she can add to her impressive resumé: she’s a kick-ass beatboxer.
During an interview with Lin-Manuel Miranda, the mastermind and star of Broadway phenomenon “Hamilton,” Miranda had Watson take a stab at beatboxing for him so he could freestyle rap.
But Miranda wasn’t rapping about any random subject. He broke down Watson’s #HeForShe campaign and the virtues of gender equality.
Despite being an obvious novice (she asked Miranda if she should cover her mouth), Watson demonstrated just why she’s our all-time #girlcrush.
Miranda killed it, of course: “Women are like half of the people on Earth, and yes they should have been equal since birth.” He even complimented Watson’s beatboxing skills: “Holy cow this is such a meme, thank you this is the beatbox dream team.”
Now we just need to get Watson, Miranda, and President Obama to collaborate on a track together.
