Glenda from Toronto took a chance: using her savings to take a vacation for the first time in six years, she and her daughter flew to LA to see their favourite TV star, the one and only Ellen.
First, a little background: Glenda, an office manager and single mother, has been living in her mother’s basement for a while, saving up to finally buy her own house.
And like an early Mother’s Day miracle, she was chosen to come on stage at the Ellen Degeneres show after being the last person standing during a game of, well, ‘last one standing wins big’.
