Leave Out Violence (LOVE) hosts its inaugural event – a fundraiser featuring a silent art auction with works donated not only from renowned international artists, but also creations from LOVE youth.
Leave Out Violence (LOVE), one of Canada’s leading youth violence prevention not-for-profit organizations presents Eat.Art.LOVE. On Thursday, November 21, 2013, LOVE plays host to a fun evening of food, music and art in support of its media arts program.
Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy delectable hors d’oevres from Emma’s Eatery and indulge in sweet offerings from LOL Candy, as well as the LOVE cupcake from The Sugar Spot. Complimentary wine and beer, including our signature LOVE cocktail, will be available courtesy of TeAlchemy, 1800 Tequila, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly and Mill St. Brewery.
To help create a festive atmosphere, guests will enjoy live music from Men in Suits, a local cover band composed of Bay Street CEO’s, investors and financial analysts. Formed in 1998, Men in Suits plays fundraisers or takes donations for their favourite charities and has raised over $1 million for charity.
The festivities will take place at the Extension Room whose open concept and urban industrial design makes it an ideal stage to display works of art from international artists and LOVE youth alike.
