Drake Just Unveiled His Swank New Members Only Club in the Air Canada Centre

“A members only club, by invite only, and open during all Air Canada Centre events, Sher Club is a privilege and the ultimate pre and post game destination you’ve been waiting for.”

If Tony Montana was a basketball fan, he’d be all over this place.

Two days ago in an Instagram post, Toronto rapper and Raptors ambassador Drake unveiled his super-high-end members-only club in the ACC; the name Sher Club is homage to his grandparents, Ruben and Evelyn Sher – Ruben, according to Drake, being “the biggest sports fan in the world.”

In a collaboration with MLSE, the ACC, and “ultra-luxury” architectural design group Ferris Rafauli, the club is located on the third floor of the arena and boasts about 4,000 square feet of red velvet booths and simple but stunning décor.

It’s being tagged as “the most exclusive establishment inside Air Canada Centre.”

Which is surprising if you consider how tight the door is at some of the pretzel stands.

The only people allowed in are members or those who have received private invitations. So if you “don’t mind getting lost in a whirlwind of exquisite taste and top-notch service,” you can try contacting Member Services to learn the secret beatbox… or whatever gets you past the guy with the nametag.

If you’re a sports enthusiast and you’re a little sick of the usual flat screens, peanuts and pints, you might want to throw on your Ferragamo warm-up jersey and that pair of gold-laced Jordans; Sher Club is now open for business.

One thing’s for sure: our grandparents would love this place.
