Let’s be honest: nobody gets any work done on summer Fridays.
There’s a reason your emails sent after noon don’t get answered until Monday.
That’s why we’ve teamed up with Gotstyle to host four ‘Ditch Friday’ events at Cabana Pool Bar.
Cabana, of course, is Toronto’s largest outdoor patio, with unparalleled skyline #views and plenty of seating. Oh, and let’s not forget about the pool, which is always full of fun and (highly photographable) pool floats.
The first event takes place on Friday, June 17, which happens to be the official opening of the beloved summertime hot spot. The afternoon will include a fashion show by Gotstyle to offer a little wardrobe inspiration for the summer months.
Other perks include food and drink specials until 6:00 p.m. and no shortage of other young professionals to mingle with to the beats of DJ Chris La Roque. It also makes a perfect spot to catch some of the season’s most anticipated sporting events – including the UEFA Euro Cup – on the big screen.
If you need to at least pretend to be working, don’t worry: there’s free wifi throughout. Plus, you can feel better about playing hooky when you take into account all of the connections you’ll make over cocktails (this event will attract some of the city’s finest, after all).
Not to mention, you’ll get a tan while doing so.
If you are stuck at work until five, there’s hope for you yet; the party continues well into the evening.
