Dine X Dash was created as a social experience to meet new people, share ideas and network with other Torontonians, all while enjoying hand-picked local restaurants and a not-so-typical night out afterwards

Their first event, held in February, was a great success. An intimate crowd of 63 twentysomethings gathered for a prix fixe menu at new Parkdale sushi joint Kanji, and then ‘dashed’ off to a night of drinks & dancing at the Thompson Hotel.

Their second event is sure to be even bigger, better, louder and tastier!

The restaurant of the month: The Samuel J. Moore, a newly opened West Queen West eatery that pays homage to its 19th century digs by taking the name of its builder. The historic site was once home to Toronto’s first west end YMCA (as well as some of history’s first ever basketball games) before being privatized and later used to house The Toronto School of Art. Now, in its latest iteration, the idea is to restore its standing as a vibrant community hub.

What’s included? Your choice of options from the 3-course set menu, a complimentary cocktail and free entry to The Drake afterwards to check out “The Digs” live band.
