Diary of a Social Gal Launch Party

Last week marked the launch of a one-of-its-kind biannual magazine by Montreal social scene luminary Jennifer Campbell. Campbell, known for her various media work in the Montreal Gazette, AskMen.com and Hello!Canada, to name a few, decided to finally create her own unique project. The inauguration of Diary of a Social Gal was held at Montreal’s delectable and upscale Bice restaurant. The evening revolved around a mix of luscious cocktails and palatable appetizers, as well as a fair amount of socializing. The sterling guestlist included attendees from various industries within the city, namely entertainment, fashion, art and finance. Both the restaurant and the terrace were completely open to the elegant and fashionable crowd Campbell had generated. The soiree was really a success in terms of the party-oriented philosophy of the magazine.

The first print edition of Diary of a Social Gal marks the culmination of Campbell’s vision. As part diary, the magazine is divided in five sections: LIVE, LOOK, MAKE, ESCAPE and INSPIRE THE PARTY. Campbell is seeking to enthrall her readers by keeping them updated on past events, as well as up-and-coming lifestyle trends and parties. Her goal, as she puts it, is to simply “stir society.” The magazine will be available twice a year (spring/summer and fall/winter), but her readers can always connect with her and her talented team of contributors online at www.diaryofasocialgal.com. The party seems to have just begun for the city of Montreal…
