Chef Antonio Park has cultivated a reputation for refined local cuisine, generous hospitality, and elegant design at his two Montreal restaurants Park and Lavanderia.
With the launch of Trout Lake Catering & Events, you can now bring Chef Park’s cuisine, staff, style, and expertise directly to your guests. Here’s the story behind Trout Lake and what you can expect from Montreal’s next top catering company.
Who is behind Trout Lake Catering & Events?
Chef Antonio Park (of PARK and Lavanderia) has partnered with Jamie Silver and Nicolina Servello to manage all event details and execution. Jamie’s extensive experience in event logistics and Nicolina’s ability to transform food into art are perfect compliments to one of Canada’s most revered chefs.
How was the idea born?
With a combined 30+ years in the service industry and a friendship forged through mutual respect, Park, Silver, and Servello saw an opportunity to collaborate and refine the events market. “We aren’t trying to duplicate what others do, but rather elevate the industry standard,” explains Park when describing the impetus for creating Trout Lake.
How are you redefining catering in the city?
Focusing on the high-quality, organic ingredients and stylistic integrity that has garnered Park international acclaim, Trout Lake catering aims to create personalized menus. We bring the same world-class ingredients, authenticity and craftsmanship to catered events that we offer at our restaurants. Chef Park is committed to providing only the freshest meat, fish and seasonal produce, along with unparalleled attention to detail and customer experience.
What can clients expect from Trout Lake?
Chef Park has cultivated a reputation for refined local cuisine, generous hospitality and elegant design. With the launch of Trout Lake Catering & Events, we now bring Chef Park’s cuisine, staff, style and expertise to your guests.
Combined with Jamie and Nicolina’s event experience, no detail goes unnoticed. Trout Lake Catering & Events can go above-and-beyond just your catering desires, if need be. We offer turnkey event management from concept, to design, to food styling, to bar, to music, to lighting, and everything in between to make your event one to remember.
Besides, food, you also provide event services…
Yes, we do! The team works with our clients to dream up and execute their vision. Simply put, Trout Lake Catering & Events can also be your event curator. Using the philosophy of “You’re only the best when you work with the best,” we all play a different role in order to reach our ultimate objective of curating a customizable experience for each client with the highest expectations for food quality, service, design, and logistics. Nicolina, for instance, will help us bring your vision to life! Sit back, relax, we will take care of the details for you.
Would you call Trout Lake a niche caterer?
Trout Lake can be considered niche due to the high standard we impose on ourselves as an organization. That being said, our team is ready and willing to work at any scale: an intimate dinner party at your home or a 1000+ person corporate event. We consider every moment we’re a part of a big event; our attention to detail remains consistent regardless of the head count.
What makes the industry interesting?
Event curating is ever evolving as one event is never like another. The inspiration is always different, allowing for new menus, new decor, etc. The possibilities are endless. We are always striving for excellence and our constant training, refining and researching allows us to offer something special to our industry, not only in Montreal but across North America.
Anything cool we can expect from Trout Lake this year?
We are currently working on building our own private kitchen. Trout Lake clients will be able to host their dinners with us, in our kitchen, exclusively. No one else will have access!
Trout Lake Catering & Events is also working on expanding its business across North America, namely in New York City, Toronto, and Vancouver.
We will share our journey with you on our Instagram page. So stay tuned…
