It’s time to reunite with Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM), which kicks off tonight with an opening party that will set the stage for the week ahead.

Not only does the week offer a chance to take in the best of Canadian fashion, a perfect breeding ground for personal and professional connections, and no shortage of parties, it’s also a way to support a good cause.

This Thursday, August 20 at 8:00pm, MensFashion4Hope, TOM*s charitable initiative, will feature a not-to-miss runway show that’s filled with Canadian celebrities rocking the latest menswear fashion from GOTSTYLE™. Proceeds raised will go to The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) through the Kol Hope Foundation for Children.

The Kol Hope Foundation is the first charitable organization in North America that helps and supports children born with Trisomy-related disabilities. The foundation was started by TOM founder Jeff Rustia, who lost his son Kol in 2011 as the result of Trisomy 13, a fatal genetic syndrome.

Kol’s spirit lives on through Rustia’s relentless initiatives, including Thursday’s affair full of fashion and familiar faces.

This season, TOM* will introduce new fundraising initiatives for the Kol Hope Foundation for Children.

Inspired by the concept of a walkathon, the public can donate to the runway walk of their favourite celebrity model. Additionally, during the hour of MensFashion4Hope, audience members will be encouraged to donate with the goal of raising $1,000 within that hour with funds raised being matched by companies and patrons involved in the “MATCH TOM*” program.
