Last night in New York, twin mogels, a newly brunette Mary-Kate and very blonde Ashley Olsen, received the womanswear designer of the year award at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards. Meanwhile, a quick flight north of the border, Robert Pattinson flashed his very white smile in Toronto yesterday while promoting his upcoming film, Cosmopolis.

Social
Prince William and Kate marked the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with a carriage ride through London in the processional back to Buckingham Palace from Parliament Square. They were joined by Prince Harry for the ride. New mom Beyoncé looked cheerful and summery yesterday outside her hotel in Paris, where she was in town to attend hubby Jay-Z’s concert. Katy Perry let loose over the weekend as she partied it up with a bunch of her gay friends at Club Robertson’s Rasputin Night in West Hollywood on Saturday, where she rocked her bright purple locks. She was seen dancing to some Britney Spears classics and was said to be in good spirits, chatting and posing for photos with fellow club-goers.

Charity
In Rio De Janeiro yesterday, Gisele Bündchen got dirty as she planted the symbolic first tree at a celebration honouring World Environment Day. In LA, expectant mom Reese Witherspoon hung out with her kids, Ava and Deacon, over the weekend at the Kidstock Music and Arts Festival held at a Beverly Hills mansion. The charity benefits the One Voice and the One Voice Scholars Program. A supporter of the charity, new mom Hilary Duff was at the Bing and DoSomething.org’s Summer of Doing kick-off event on Friday in Los Angeles, where, when it comes to changing diapers, she exclaimed, “I’m really good at it. I’ve got it down.”

Living
Looking rather shaggy, Leonardo DiCaprio enjoyed a leisurely bike ride through New Orleans on Monday. Speaking about staying in shape, Kelly Clarkson told the July issue of Redbook that getting in shape is all about finding what’s right for you. “Really, what I try to instill in my fans is to be healthy and happy,” she says. “I have no desire to be super-skinny.” She went on to say: “I do cardio. I run. I strength-train using my own body weight.” Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman (an art dealer) tied the knot on Saturday, where they were seen making an exit from the reception at Barrymore’s Montecito, California home in the back of an old classic convertible Mercedes that was decorated with pink roses and well ribbons. Barrymore and Kopelman are expecting their first child. In case anyone cares, Brandon Jenner and Leah Felder (the daughter of former Eagles guitarist Don Felder) married in Hawaii on Thursday in an intimate sunset ceremony on the beach, where Kendall and Kylie Jenner served as bridesmaids.
