Caught on Video: The 2015 Notable Awards

It’s here: video documentation of the epic evening that was the 2015 Notable Awards in Toronto.

If you didn’t have FOMO from the growing buzz that began on social media and continued weeks after the event, you most definitely will after watching this video (but hey, there’s always next year’s awards).

Transforming the sprawling Carlu, the Notable Awards, hosted by Notable Founder and CEO Julian Brass, was decidedly one of the best events that Toronto’s finest young professionals (all 1500 of them) have attended in a very long time.

After all, the evening included all of our favourite things: quality food (when it’s done by Oliver & Bonacini that’s a given), flowing cocktails (resulting in a few hazy mornings), interactive stations, and amazing music that kept everyone out much later than their typical Wednesday bedtime – including a throwback performance by Maestro Fresh Wes.

Oh, and did we mention the presence of famous faces like Norm Kelly (who became everyone’s ‘6ix dad’ by the time the night was over), Toronto’s beloved celeb chef Susur Lee, design powerhouse Joe Mimran, and the vocally gifted Jully Black (who took home the Notable Award for Best in Music)?

Of course, we can all feel better about losing sleep for the love of a good party knowing that it’s also in the name of a great cause. All proceeds from the event went toward the ‘Notable Millennial Mental Health Project’ in association with the Canadian Mental Health Association Toronto Branch.

In short, if you weren’t there, you missed a multi-tiered evening that was definitely worthy of no shortage of social media posts (check out #notableawards) and conversation starters in the days that followed.

But don’t just take our word for it – it’s all in the video.
