Canadian Vocalist Joey Niceforo Releases Debut Solo Album

Canadian Vocalist Joey Niceforo Releases Debut Solo Album Priceless recorded at London’s Iconic Abbey Road Studios.

Joey Niceforo is an accomplished vocalist venturing into solo territory for the first time in his career. He previously made his professional debut as a member of the Canadian Tenors and has performed at the 2008 Beijing and 2010 Vancouver Olympics as well as at Carnegie Hall. He also recently returned from an exclusive performance series in China and opened for Jennifer Hudson at the Après Noir event in Toronto earlier this year.

Joey opened his beautiful home to us, showcasing his debut solo album, Priceless. He welcomed an intimate group from Toronto’s entertainment industry to enjoy a live performance of select tracks from the album. The album was released in April 2018.

His new album Priceless features powerful ballads recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios with an 80-piece orchestra. Yes, 80-piece orchestra! Niceforo described the experience as ultimately, priceless.

It was hard not to notice the parallels between the event’s atmosphere and the tone of the album – warm, raw and authentic.

Joey performed two songs: “Winner Takes It All” (who doesn’t love ABBA?) and “Take It With Me” where he paid tribute to his late father. A room filled with chatter was quickly mesmerized by his incredible voice and presence.

The night ended with macaroons, more champagne and his adorable dog, Oliver, running around greeting everyone. It was a special night and an exciting indication of what to expect from his album Priceless.

Joey’s music video for “Winner Takes It All” is a raw cut of his first time recording with the orchestra. Watch it here. It’s a must see!

You can purchase Priceless on Niceforo’s website and on iTunes.
