Canada’s First Christian Louboutin Flagship Store Will Open in Toronto Soon

You’ll soon have another reason to venture north of Bloor.

In just a few short months, Christian Louboutin will transform a space in Yorkville in all of its red-soled glory when it opens its first freestanding Canadian location.

The flagship will open in the former La Presse Internationale space at 99 Yorkville Avenue and will feature around 2,625 square feet of retail space over two floors, in addition to a 1,230-square foot basement level that will be used for stock and back-of-house operations.

Conveniently, the Louboutin flagship will be directly across from a shiny new Chanel store (set to open in early 2017), which will take over the 8,700-square foot store once occupied by Teatro Verde.

Christian Louboutin currently operates freestanding stores in nine U.S. locations, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles (Costa Mesa, Santa Monica, West Hollywood), Las Vegas, Miami, New York City, and San Francisco.

If you can’t wait, you can always scoop up a pair (or two) of the trademark red-soled shoes at a handful of Canadian retailers (including Holt Renfrew and Davids), but the flagship will offer a better and more expansive selection.

Either way, it’s probably a good idea to start your Louboutin savings fund now.
