Adorn Boutique
It’s time to go shopping because Adorn Boutique in Inglewood is throwing their grand opening party from 6 to 8pm tonight. There will be 10 per cent of all store products to shop and lots of delicious treats to snack on as you browse. If you’ve been on the hunt for items by SKOT, Cake for Breakfast and Loren Hope, your search is over. For those of you who’ve already made plans tomorrow night, don’t despair; you can still drop in Friday, Saturday and Sunday to see the new line-up.

Time To Bloom
This weekend, Bloom YYC present an epic evening of yoga, beats and bliss at the ALOFT Hotel. If you’re in a bit of rut and feeling drained and uninspired, then take advantage of an evening that includes yoga, meditation and insight into how to recharge your batteries and re-energize your mind and body. Live DJs will be in attendance to help set the mood, so get ready to rejuvenate in a totally new way. Tickets can be purchased online.

Friday

A Tale of Murder
We’ve all been to parties that were dead, but this dinner party is taking the concept quite literally. Welcome to murder mystery dinner theater. You’re an actor and your agent has just called to say that you need to be on set for the latest zombie film that’s being shot in town. The catch? You need to decide if you’re going to play the part of the bloodthirsty undead or the hero who will save the day. Doors are at 6pm and dinner is served at 7pm.

All Weekend

Oktoberfest
If there’s one thing that all Calgarians love, it’s a beer hall – and lucky for you, from now until October 13th Wurst is throwing Oktoberfest with more events than your social calendar can handle. There will be live Oompa bands, Jägermeister parties and Red Bull DJs to put a spin on the traditional festivities. For all the details, visit the website and get ready to party Munich-style. Lederhosen aren’t required, but it might make the whole experience more fun.

Sunday

If you love pop-up shops and curious gift items, then you probably know about the Collector’s Club that’s happening at the Commonwealth Bar this weekend. From 1 to 6pm you can shop at this super sweet market and admission is only $3, with all proceeds going to charity. Hunt for handmade jewelry, find those great vintage accessories, or dig out those classic and hard-to-find records for your collection. Beyond finding cool objects you’ll get to listen to a few DJs spinning Sunday afternoon tracks while you sip on mimosas.
