Bourbon Party Anyone?
Let’s see a show of hands for people that like drinking stiff, well-made, artisan cocktails. And let’s see another show of hands for people who are looking for a different way to spend their Thursday night. If this sounds like you, then you need to hurry up and get a ticket to our Bourbon Party happening on March 20th at the Bourbon Room (341 10th Avenue SW). Notable is cordially inviting you and your friends to join us for a special evening in one of the most exclusive joints in the city. For one night only you’ll be treated to a creative selection of cocktails poured by a shortlist of savvy bartenders from Calgary and Vancouver. The event begins at 5:30 pm and tickets can be found on here. For more information, contact Caitlinb@notable.ca

Canvas Bistro
Starting on March 14th, Canvas Bistro will be serving a special Irish-inspired menu that everyone should experience. The Guinness mussels are a must-try item and the Irish-inspired affogato with peppermint schnapps and vanilla bean gelato will make you happy that you stopped in for dinner. For those of you who haven’t been to the bistro before, make sure to show up a little early so you have time to walk around the Gerry Thomas gallery located beneath the restaurant (602 11th Avenue SW). To make reservations, call 587-353-1299587-353-1299. The three-course set menu is $30.
