Saturday evening brings you the Glenbow Museum’s much-anticipated gala, Schmancy. The evening will start with a feature presentation by George Stroumboulopoulos, followed by entertainment, exhibitions, cuisine, cocktails and dancing.

For the guys, head to Harry Rosen‘s downtown location (TD Square at The CORE) for a complimentary straight razor shave Saturday afternoon. From 12pm – 4pm, London Barber’s master barber will introduce you to one of the best names in men’s grooming, Muhle, while you sip on an old fashioned from Knob Creek.

Not heading to Schmancy? Why not check out the Best of the Beach Boys at Jack Singer Concert Hall? Warm up your cold winter night and relive surfer hits like California Girls, Help Me Rhonda, Kokomo and more.

Sunday spend the day at the Calgary Boat and Sportsman Show at the BMO Centre (Stampede Park). Indulge in all things related to an outdoor lifestyle – if it floats or is somehow related to fun on the water, it will be found at this show. It will feature boats of every size and description, boat trailers, ski ropes, wakeboards, tubes, personal flotation devices and more from hundreds of exhibitors and retailers.

Sunday evening, catch a special screening of the documentary “Finding Kind” presented by Womentum at Burnswest Theatre, Fort Calgary (?750 9 Ave SE). This show exposes what is really going on within the “Girl World.” Watch two girls pack their bags and travel across America in a mini-van with both their mothers to interview hundreds of females around the country. The screening will be followed with a panel discussion that includes Dana Kerford, the founder/teacher at GirlPower.
