It’s officially sweater season.
Naturally, it’s time to drape ourselves in cozy, chunky cable knits, complete with a side of steaming tea or coffee.
Now, your nails will look even better grasping that coffee cup thanks to this winter’s “coolest” trend in nail design: enter cable knit patterned gel nails. The 3-D, sweater-like pattern is created using the ever-so-popular gel polish and textured with a dotting tool.
If you’re feeling expressive, you can alternate and mix up colours, patterns, and textures.
If you’re better in the beauty and art department than I am (otherwise, I don’t recommend this), you can try this at home, thanks to this tutorial. If you’re prone to chipping your manicure shortly after the polish dries, you may want to leave it up to your local esthetician.
