Cabana Lounge Brings South Beach Flair to Vancouver

Just in time for the weekend, Vancouver’s after-dark scene gets shaken and stirred by the arrival of Cabana Lounge (1159 Granville Street). Channeling a touch of South Beach chic, this space is set to revamp the Granville club corridor with ample style, a hot list of visiting DJ acts, and plenty of flash and fancy.

Deemed a truly unique lounge space, Cabana aims to redefine the nightlife scene in our laid-back city and (starting tonight) will open its doors to the public at 1161 Granville Street.

Inspired by the vibrant colours and style that are South Beach, this stunningly appointed lounge boasts a bold array of hues reminiscent of Miami-area hot spots – complete with chic cabana-draped VIP booths, bottle service, and stylish décor elements added to the mix.

Young professionals looking for a new place to head to in order to work of the week’s steam will love the funked-up cool factor afforded by Cabana. An added signature element is the gorgeous Acacia tree that is majestically growing throughout the intimate space, melting your weekday worries away.

Owners Dave Kershaw, Jens Marquardt and Cris Jackson have joined creative forces; having travelled the world’s party circuit extensively under the guise of research (we’re sure), Cabana offers guests a superior lounge/bar experience this city hasn’t seen.

They wanted to provide a sophisticated yet sensual atmosphere where extraordinary ambiance and exceptional service took precedence.

A vibrant menu of entertainment offerings will be on full rotation, as well as a well-chosen list of global and local DJ talent who’ll liven things up on the regular.

So, post-Thanksgiving turkey overload, go work off the indulgence by grabbing your dancing shoes and head to YVR’s newest hot spot to get your groove on.
