On Saturday, August 25, 2012 The Burgundy Brick Foundation’s ‘Build the Future’ 2012 event raised over $25,000 in support of Habitat for Humanity Toronto. In the past 5 years, the Burgundy Brick Foundation has raised over $200,000 in support of Habitat’s initiative to provide affordable home-ownership.
The event took place at the exclusive Storys Building and hosted 350 guests brought together with the same wish to make a difference in Toronto’s affordable housing community. Young professionals left with knowledge of the housing challenges within the Toronto community and how they can get involved with the cause.
The evening catered guests to gourmet appetizers, STLTO Wine and had a partnership with UBER Toronto car service, to ensure all guests arrived in style.
