Bryan Adams Announces First Canada Tour in 20 Years

Whoa, talk about a blast from the past! We just heard that Bryan Adams will be doing his first cross-country Canadian tour in 20 years.

We must admit it got us feeling a little nostalgic. We can remember singing “Everything I do, I do it for You” with our girlfriends in the back of our parents’ mini vans, discovering the “Summer of 69” at a summer camp talent show and listening in amazement as our childhood BFF’s older sister described being sprayed with the musician’s sweat at a concert we were too young to attend. Many Canadian young professionals can probably recall rocking out at that very same concert.

For the first time since his Waking Up the Neighbours tour in 1992 (yep, that makes us feel old too), he’ll be hitting 20 arenas in 20 different cities this spring between April and June. This will mark a return of the full band with guitarist Keith Scott, drummer Mickey Curry, keyboardist Gary Breit and bassist Norm Fisher.

The band will play hits from their hugely successful career like “Cuts Like a Knife,” “Can’t Stop This Thing We’ve Started,” “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You,” and perhaps some newer stuff like his recent dance track “Tonight in Babylon.”

Concert tickets are reflective of 1992 prices, and won’t break the bank, ranging from $20 to $95. This got us thinking that maybe we should make up for that missed concert after all…

Tickets go on sale Monday, Feb. 6 at livenation.com.
