It’s big food news for lovers of Monkland’s Lucille’s Oyster Dive.
The beloved neighbourhood gem has opened shop in a second location, adding to the slowly bustling Westmount restaurant scene right across Tavern on the Square.
The best news? You can ACTUALLY make reservations at the new location.
The spanking new Brasserie Lucilles focal point is a steak house with their star dish being the prime rib. Also on the menu, notable pastas, fish, oysters (obviously), and a great selection of healthier options like salads, tartars, and more.
A little foodie hint? Try their Maryland crab cakes.
The design was very important with this project and includes some pretty cool elements including a 32 ft. kitchen that opens up into the dining room, giving clients a live culinary show, a nine seat back bar where you can watch your oysters being shucked or your Portuguese chicken spinning on the rotisserie and a giant meat aging locker behind an 11-seat bar.
Lucilles Brasserie is now open at 4124 Ste-Catherine O. seven days a week from 5pm-11pm with lunch on Thursday and Friday only from 1130am-3pm.
