Beyoncé, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar Headline Coachella 2017 Lineup

It would honestly make just as much sense to release a lineup of artists not performing – that’s how extensive and impressive Coachella’s lineups have become.

And 2017 is no different.

Beyoncé, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar will headline this year’s desert music festival in Indio, California.

Beyonce will be the first female headliner since 2007, when Bjork appeared in big font. Notable exclusions include any performer or band clinging to a comeback, as this year does away with reunions or throwbacks.

“There’s a prescience in [Coachella’s] choice of headliners: Two radical, inventive black artists at the peak of their powers and influence, as well as an English rock band devoted to re-invention and melancholy,” writes the LA Times about the festival’s choice in mainstage acts.
