Best Toronto Hotel: The Four Seasons

Located right in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood, The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is one of the best options if you’re looking to splurge. The hotel offers 259 spacious luxury hotel guest rooms, including 42 decked-out suites with some of the best views in the city. Not only do the accommodations come with the trusted Four Seasons Hotel stamp of approval, the spa and the restaurant are among the best in Toronto (maybe even Canada).

In September, we were given another reason to hit The Four Seasons (hotel guest or not) with the re-birth of Café Boulud. Not only is a meal at the Brasserie-style spot worth the trip to Yorkville, it’s worth the hefty price tag too. Inspired by Chef Boulud’s family meals back in Lyon, it’s open for all meals, but a highlight is the extensive dinner menu, which is jam packed with meat, fish, poultry, and veggies for the vegan set. Personal favourites include the rotisserie lobster, the beer-battered calamari, and (though it doesn’t come cheap) the 30-day dry-aged 10oz striploin.

At the main interior bar, DBar, the vibe is always bustling with action, with well-dressed patrons of all ages sipping on martinis and wine. Celebrities are a regular sighting at this bar. Naturally, both the accommodations and food and drink won’t come cheap here – but you do get what you pay for. The elegant ballroom makes for a popular wedding venue as well. As expected, service at this hotel is impeccable – among the best in Toronto.

A Four Seasons visit isn’t complete without a visit to the spa. The spa at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is the largest luxury hotel spa in the city. The 30,000 square foot spa offers 17 spacious treatment suites, two steam rooms, and a Nail and Hair Bar, covering all the bases for you.

One of the best parts about this Toronto hotel is its location. A distinctively quieter, yet refined alternative to the bustling downtown core, the tree-lined Yorkville neighbourhood offers fashionable boutiques, galleries, cafés, and restaurants. One thing is for sure: few people are ever disappointed by this Toronto hotel.
