Best Patio Bars in Toronto

Oasis at Gretzky’s (99 Blue Jays Way)
This tropical oasis in the heart of the entertainment district is home to special events throughout the summer and is a popular after-work drink spot for young professionals 30 and under. Expect a casual vibe with good conversation.

The Spoke Club (600 King St. W, pictured below)
More garden than patio, The Spoke Club’s rooftop oasis alone is worth the membership. We’re probably not the only ones that have their upstairs outdoor space listed as one of the best patio bars in Toronto.

Drake Sky Yard (1150 Queen St. W, pictured below)
The famed Queen West hotspot’s Sky Hard is where you’ll likely catch us for the majority of the summer, only partly because of its excellent rooftop location. You’ll also have the rest of the Drake Hotel’s amenities at your fingertips, as well as delicious creations from the Drake kitchen.

Murphy’s Law (1702 Queen St. E)
This patio is notable not only for its sun-kissed location on top of one of the East End’s best Irish pubs, but also because of its proximity to the waterfront. Enjoy casual pub fare and a few pints in The Beaches while taking in the sun on their cozy rooftop escape.

Thompson Hotel Rooftop (550 Wellington St., pictured top)
This one’s probably obvious. If you haven’t heard why the Thompson Hotel’s rooftop (with pool) is the place to hang out in the summer, you’ve probably been living under a rock.
