Become the Voice of Calgary’s Most Exciting Neighbourhood and Live RENT FREE for a Year

This is your chance to be the voice of Calgary’s most exciting new neighbourhood.

Oh, and you’ll also get to live rent-free for a year; and receive a furniture allowance; and get paid to share your life on social media – something you’re probably already doing.  Only now it will be way better.

Interested? Thought so.

Calgary’s East Village, a major urban development project that will welcome two impressive  condo towers, St. Patrick’s Island, and the newly re-opened Simmons Building to the neighbourhood this year, is looking for a Resident Ambassador to share the Village experience.

Your role as RA will be to create content and communicate the emerging lifestyle of East Village from your brand new condominium home on the edge of the Bow River. Two new homes, actually, since you’ll be spending six months in the FIRST building by FRAM+Slokker and the next six months in Evolution by Embassy BOSA.
You’ll be granted front-of-the-line access to all EV events and celebrations to document and communicate some of the community’s most anticipated milestones on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the East Village Experience blog.

You’ll be paid $500 for a 25-hour/month commitment on top of some exceptional benefits that include 1000 minutes of free drive time with Car2Go, a Biria Cruiser Bike, and an furniture gift voucher to outfit your condos.

That’s a pretty sweet deal on top of living one of the most enviable lifestyles in the city.
And since you’re obviously just aching to be The Chosen One by now, here’s how to apply:

– Complete the application form on by June 30, 2015 at 12pm.

– Include a URL link to a 15-30 second video describing why you are the perfect EV resident ambassador candidate, and attach .wmv file of video.

– Share your video entry via social media channels as a means to promote your entry and demonstrate your ability to utilize and engage an audience on social media channels.

Full details on the selection process can be found here.

Good luck – and don’t be surprised when everyone you know suddenly wants to crash on your couch.
