Last Thursday, Calgary’s community and civic leaders, cultural communicators and see-and-be-seen flocked to Double Zero Pizza for an evening of philanthropic brainstorming and conversation at the first annual Black & Red Bash, hosted by United Way’s BeCause initiative. The evening consisted of lots of casual mixing and mingling over gourmet pizza and short breakout sessions to capitalize on the collective thoughts and opinions of notable YPs. The short sessions were hosted by various community leaders like Brian Boulanger, Senior Vice President of ARC Financial. The leaders shared their community experiences and encouraged discussion on philanthropic topics important to Calgary’s emerging leaders. At The sold-out soiree, networks expanded, community support gained momentum, and BeCause successfully engaged current and future community leaders.
