Art Goes Glam at Montreal Museum of Fine Arts’ Peru Unplugged

It was a stunning mix of culture and cocktails at Montreal Museum of Fine Arts‘ Peru Unplugged on Tuesday. The Young Philanthropists’ Circle gathered in style for the final night of the Museum’s glamorous exhibition, “Peru: Kingdoms of the Sun and the Moon.”

The event, exclusive to Young Philanthropist members, featured a dynamic tour of the exhibition as well as a Peruvian-inspired fiesta complete with ceviche by L’Atelier D’Argentine, live music, and cocktails in the dazzling Bronze Gallery of the Museum.

The exquisite and expansive show, which began with a panoramic picture of the great Inca ruins, boasted glorious gold, silver and turquoise pieces, including a spectacular gold Mochica octopus forehead ornament on exhibition for the first time since its return to Peru.

The MMFA’s Young Philanthropists Circle provides a remarkable opportunity to enjoy an evening of art and mingle with a network of young professionals while participating in the wonderful world of cultural philanthropy.
