Apple CEO Tim Cook Offers These Words of Wisdom for the Younger Generation

Apple CEO Tim Cook took in a cricket match in Uttar Pradesh during a recent tour of India – the perfect opportunity to drop some knowledge.

And it’s safe to say he knows a thing or two when it comes to prosperity in the business world.

A reporter asked Cook about his views on the sport, his experience in India, and any words of wisdom for the younger generation wishing to achieve a similar level of success.

Cook’s answer was simple: “Do what you love, put your whole heart into it, and then just have fun.”

Easy, right?

Well, there’s a little more to it than that. Cook also revealed his daily routine: he gets up at 3:45 a.m., answers emails, works out at 5 a.m., then works all day until 8 or p.m.

“I love it,” says Cook.

While monumental success isn’t exactly simple to achieve, Cook echoes the voice of countless business figures and CEOs who stress that it comes down to following your passion. As the saying goes, if you love what you do, you won’t work a day in your life.

And if your passion translates into a fat paycheque, even better.
