Anti Same-Sex Marriage Group Release Video Acting Like a Repressed Minority

It’s been a big week for same-sex marriage. And many, many of people have embraced it.

Some have had particularly great reactions.

So it’s not too surprising that those feeling threatened have decided to hit back.

But there’s just so much wrong here.

The fact that it’s completely set up like a ‘coming out’ video. The fact that these people feel that they’re the ones being ostracized. The tone. The comments. The ‘Speak Truth With Love’ tagline. The claims that more than one of them have ‘gay friends’ who they ‘love’ but like, hey, since we love God too – f*ck those people.

“Bigoted is a huge word that gets thrown around. And it’s just not true.”

Um, let us help you out there for a second…

noun big·ot \ˈbi-gət\

: a person who strongly and unfairly dislikes other people, ideas, etc. : a bigoted person; especially : a person who hates or refuses to accept the members of a particular group (such as a racial or religious group)

Or you know, a group of people with a particular sexual identity.

“No one should be looked down upon. No one should be suppressed. Or no one’s views should suppressed.”

Exactly Catholic Vote. Exactly.
