It was Thursday, July 12th, that Toronto’s Ad Club met for an evening of drinks and mingling at Skybar – Guvernment’s amazing rooftop patio. Although this isn’t typically the “young professional destination,” when the Ad Club brings the party and takes over a venue, it quickly becomes the event to be at.
It was a sea of stripes under the sunset as Toronto’s young advertising professionals gathered for the annual summer party. The nautical themed event was right on point with the heat wave we have been experiencing over the past week.
With a view of the city from one side and the lake on the other, combined with palm trees and white floating light fixtures, the party took on a life of its own. Anyone and everyone in the advertising industry danced and networked the night away.
Who could of thought a work event could be so fun? Even though we are sure the following Friday was a write-off for most, we cannot deny that AD Club put on a great and successful event. Looking forward to the next one.
