Ever wanted to spend a night in the Air Canada Centre?
Well, you soon can, complete with a warm bed and clean sheets.
Airbnb has teamed up with MLSE and Toronto Maple Leafs legend Doug Gilmour for the first Stay At program in Canada. You read that correctly: the Air Canada Centre now has a listing on Airbnb.
This isn’t about money though – you’re going to have to be lucky to stay here, as in, the lucky winner.
Offering something to look forward to on those dead-of-winter January nights, a winner and a guest will win the ultimate sports weekend experience at the ACC the weekend of January 23rd-24th. This includes back-to-back games, beginning with a Leaf’s game against the Montreal Canadiens (complete with platinum tickets), followed by courtside seats to the Raptors game against the Los Angeles Clippers the next day. They will also get to experience an exclusive Maple Leafs pre-game experience.
Of course, winners won’t have to navigate maddening traffic to get to the games either. They’ll get to stay in a cozy, customized private suite at the ACC that overlooks the rink.
Other perks include a behind-the-scenes tour of the venue including players’ amenities, watching the warm up from the penalty box, a shopping spree at Real Sports Apparel, and the opportunity to send players off in the Maple Leafs tunnel as they take the ice. After the Leafs game, before returning to their Airbnb suite for the night, the winner and their guest will also be invited to attend Head Coach Mike Babcock’s post-game press conference.
So, it’s basically a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and one you should probably get on before it’s too late.
For a chance to win the ultimate sports weekend experience, visit the ACC listing on Airbnb and explain why you’re “the biggest Maple Leafs and Raptors fan and what it would mean to you to stay overnight at the Air Canada Centre.”
The contest runs today through Dec 15th.
