A Night of Art, Food and Music at La Carnita’s DOS

First there was UNO, and then La Carnita presented DOS, another superb evening of collaboration in art, music and food, this past Friday. 40 international artists (Sam Flores, Mike Giant, and Faith 47 to name a few) battled it out with stunning original works of art while superstar DJs Platurn and Grandtheft were going set for set and track for track on four turntables

First there was UNO, and then La Carnita presented DOS, another superb evening of collaboration in art, music and food, this past Friday. 40 international artists (Sam Flores, Mike Giant, and Faith 47 to name a few) battled it out with stunning original works of art while superstar DJs Platurn and Grandtheft were going set for set and track for track on four turntables. If that wasn’t enough, two of North America’s most celebrated taquerias, Big Star and La Carnita, collaborated for a one-night-only street food menu in addition to us getting sneak peek at Andrew Richmond’s soon-to-open eatery The Home of The Brave.

The event was fantastically curated by the one and only Clay Rochemont for the second year in a row at Toronto’s raw and spacious Evergreen Brick Works. The walls were transformed and a stunning outdoor piece by super talented Faith 47 embraced and lived up to everything DOS said it was going to be. Street art at its finest. Check out some of the collaboration highlights from the evening:
