A History Of Impressionism

The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute holds undoubtedly one of the greatest collections of French Impressionism in North America. The only Canadian venue on the international tour organized on the occasion of the Clark’s expansion, this exhibition will offer the rare chance to experience a visual history of Impressionism through an extraordinary group of some 75 paintings by Renoir, Monet, Degas, Sisley and other French masters. The exhibition is organized by the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, Williamstown, Massachusetts. The Montreal presentation is produced in collaboration with the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
