We’ve all noticed that Kim Kardashian’s look has drastically changed over the last few years. From clubwear to classics, Kim has graduated into somewhat of a style icon, and though she claims that fiancee Kanye West is not directly responsible for her sudden change in appearance, his influence has been made clear over the last few years.
It all began when Yeezy appeared on an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” in 2012 to clean out her closet and replace her old clothes with designer duds. During the closet revamp, Kim confessed, “Kanye has definitely inspired me to be a little bit more of an individual… I think my style is evolving and changing, and I think it should because that’s what life is about. He’s a fashion designer and he loves clothes, so I’m excited to collaborate with him and see what his take on fashion is.”
Sitting in the front rows during fashion week, partying with designers, models and artists, attending galas that Kim had been shunned from in the past and now being featured on the cover of Vogue, Kanye has undoubtedly helped to change Kim’s presence in the fashion industry. Though the couple often dons coordinating ensembles, Kim still manages to play up her world famous curves in the high-fashion labels. From street goth, to tailored elegance, this style-savvy couple walks a big fashion game.
