We’re kicking off this list with arguably the coolest of the bunch. With multiple accommodation options, you can hideout among the trees in a mirror cube, UFO, cabin, or bird’s nest.

We’re not sure how you like your treehouses, but we prefer ours with a pool, balconies, shower, and kitchen.
Redwood Treehouse, Santa Clara, California
This modern tree-bound escape is available to rent through Airbnb and comes with great balcony views, a full bathroom, queen bed, TV, and kitchen. ‘No smoking’ should go without saying.
The Treehouse at Harptree Court, Somerset, England

Ok, a little more cabana-style, but still quite treehouse. We had the pleasure of visiting Maderas Village in 2013 and would recommend you book a stay at any one of their awesome jungle abodes ASAP.

Essentially a skyscraper in the trees, this enchanting treehouse covers seven stories and features floor-to-ceiling windows throughout.
Secluded Urban Oasis, Atlanta
Another Airbnb gem, this spot sits just minutes from downtown Atlanta. It consists of three separate rooms, each connected by rope bridges.

Set among the tall trees of the West Coast rainforest of Vancouver Island, these handcrafted spheres are suspended like pendants from a web of rope. They sway, too, which is cool.
