7 Signs They’re Worth Spending Your Friday Night With

Giving someone a Friday night is kind of a big deal when it comes to dating.

After all, it’s pretty much the best day of the week – and the wrong company can kill that feel-good Friday vibe you’ve got going on.

Since you’ve worked hard all week and deserve the right Friday night, here are 7 signs they’re worth spending it with.

1. You Haven’t Checked in with your Friends to See What They’re Doing
You have no clue if you’re missing the season’s hottest party or a night out with the guys or ladies. That’s because the weighing of Friday night options was not necessary – the date was your first choice.
2. The Thought of Leaving Your Phone at Home Doesn’t Give You Anxiety
That’s because you already know you’re not going to need the help of a friend’s phone call as an “exit strategy.” The last time you two hungout, you barely checked your phone anyway.
3. You Know They Won’t Have FOMO Either
It’s one thing for you not to have fomo when opting for a date over a night on the town – but you need to make sure your date is in the same mindset. It’s never a good feeling (especially on a Friday) when a date checks his/her phone constantly, then ditches you for the guys or ladies once the bill is paid. So, maybe save the known “party people” for a Sunday or Monday.
4. You’re Totally Open to it Turning into a Late Night Thing
You haven’t made other plans post-dinner because you’re totally open to the date going late into the evening – and possibly into the morning. That’s why you’ve also refrained from making any plans before noon on Saturday.
5. You’re Totally Cool with the Possibility of Running into Someone You Know
More so than on a Monday or Tuesday, you’re likely to bump into someone you know if you hit up a restaurant, movie, or event on a Friday. If you’re not into your date, that can be awkward, as you discreetly try to convey that he/she is not your significant other.

6. You Already Know They’re a Good Date
It’s a total rookie move to schedule a first date on a Friday night. But because you’ve already been on a handful of dates with him or her, you already know that the date is going to be an enjoyable experience, with little chance of him/her killing your Friday night vibe. And they’re definitely not the type to bail, either.
7. You’ve Been Looking Forward to it All Week
Because of the scheduled date, you’ve actually been looking forward to Friday night more than you usually do. It doesn’t matter whether the date involves a night in with a movie or a barhop across town, you could be doing anything with him/her and have a great time.

If they meet all criteria, who knows where it could lead. Of course, the next step is giving someone your Saturday…perhaps after you’ve woken up next to them.
